Sales Director

Replicated is making it easy for cloud based SaaS vendors to ship on-premise, self-hosted versions of their software. We are a Series-A stage startup based in Los Angeles with great customers including Travis CI, npm, Code Climate, Sysdig, Circle CI and many others.

The Sales Director will be responsible for driving new sales of Replicated’s product and capturing opportunities drive adoption and growth with existing customers. A successful candidate for this role will represent Replicated to a wide range of potential partners from developers to C-level executives. This position will require meeting a sales quota, managing all aspects of the sales process, and working closely with the team at Replicated to best position our product in the market

The preference is for this role to be based in San Francisco, CA or Los Angeles, CA.


  • Create and enact sales plans to meet/exceed quotas through generating lead and then qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and move a high value transactions through the sales pipeline
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information
  • Own and collaborate on all aspects of the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering and finalizing contracts
  • Execute product demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Develop accounts of various sizes and grow client relationships
  • Deeply learn the Replicated product
  • Collaborate within the Replicated team on sales strategy, pricing strategy, marketing efforts and customer care


  • Five to ten years of direct sales experience, consistent overachievement against goals
  • Startup experience, track record of building at an early stage
  • Effectiveness selling to both developers and C-level
  • Experience selling into high tech vertical, especially the Security space
  • Foundational understanding of cloud native ecosystem
  • Bay Area or Los Angeles based
