What’s New for Compatibility Matrix

(Alpha) Embedded Cluster firewall openings tested with Compatibility Matrix. Embedded Cluster routes network requests for online installations to either proxy.replicated.com or replicated.app. Using the new Compatibility Matrix network reporting feature, automated tests now verify that Embedded Cluster only makes requests to these documented domains. Vendors can set up similar tests to verify network egress by requesting access to the Compatibility Matrix network reporting feature (alpha). Docs.

What’s New for Vendor Portal

Quick link for accessing the Enterprise Portal. Vendors can now click Login to portal on the Enterprise Portal access tab for a customer to log in to that customer's Enterprise Portal as a system user. This allows vendors to quickly access the Enterprise Portal for a customer, without needing to add their email address as a user.

Usability improvements to the Edit/Promote Release dialog. The dialog for editing and promoting releases is updated to make it easier for vendors to understand how the given release will be ordered on the channel. First, the dialog now warns vendors when a SemVer version label is not high enough to be ordered as the latest version on the selected channel:

Additionally, the channels listed in the dialog are now grouped into SemVer and Sequential categories to better show if the release’s order on the channel will be determined using SemVer or its sequence:

Show the channel’s settings on the Release History page. Vendors can now easily see the channel’s settings when viewing the Release History page.

UX improvements to hybrid view on Customers page. Various design updates, including adding alternating row colors, improve the readability of the customer hybrid view on the Customers page.
