Quickwork Expands Into Regulated Markets with Scalable On-Prem Deployments

“The Enterprise Portal is a game changer. No longer do I have to communicate with the end customer saying, ‘Hey, you need to do XYZ. This is how you onboard the license… this is how you upgrade… this is how you patch.’ The Enterprise Portal takes care of all of that.”

Overview
Quickwork is a fast-growing Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) company that helps enterprises seamlessly connect disparate systems—whether legacy, on-prem, or cloud-native. With a vast and extensible ecosystem of over 1,500 connectors, Quickwork caters to highly regulated industries like banking and fintech, where data integration and compliance go hand in hand. To serve customers with strict infrastructure and data locality requirements, Quickwork needed a secure and scalable way to deliver their product in on-prem and air-gapped environments.
Challenge
As a cloud-native startup, Quickwork initially hesitated to enter the on-prem market. Krish Advani, CTO and Co-Founder of Quickwork, explained, “We were really scared of going on-prem to begin with.” The team grappled with concerns over protecting their IP, managing dependencies across environments, and the sheer complexity of deploying a microservices-based application in a customer’s secure environment.
Their product included not only a robust core platform but also thousands of connectors, each requiring careful packaging and delivery. Dealing with software bills of materials (SBOMs), security patching, and drift between cloud and on-prem deployments made the idea of supporting enterprise installs seem nearly impossible.
“We were really scared of going on-prem to begin with.”

Solution
Replicated provided the foundational platform Quickwork needed to confidently serve enterprise customers in private and regulated environments. From the beginning, Quickwork invested deeply in training and documentation, completing Replicated labs and receiving onboarding support from the Replicated team. As Krish noted, the team was “completely floored that the Replicated platform solves everything with on-prem that there is to be solved.”
Key Replicated features Quickwork adopted include:
- License management to enforce trials and commercial agreements
- Preflight checks with Troubleshoot.sh to avoid misconfigurations
- Compatibility matrix for future-proofing deployments
- Zero-vulnerability container images and security attestations
Additionally, Replicated’s Enterprise Portal became a crucial part of their enterprise deployment strategy. The Enterprise Portal is a self-service interface that empowers customers to manage licenses, deploy applications, and perform upgrades with minimal vendor intervention. It streamlines enterprise software delivery by offering a centralized experience for configuration, automation, and support. Quickwork’s customers install and manage their applications using Helm charts, and the Enterprise Portal supports Helm-based deployments. This allows customers to execute installs with precision, consistency, and full visibility, all within a controlled interface that reduces complexity for both Quickwork and their enterprise IT teams. Krish emphasized its impact, saying, “The Enterprise Portal is a game changer. No longer do I have to communicate with the end customer saying, ‘Hey, you need to do XYZ. This is how you onboard the license… this is how you upgrade… this is how you patch.’ The Enterprise Portal takes care of all of that.”
Quickwork customers also leverage CI pipelines directly on top of the Enterprise Portal, automatically applying updates in lower environments with minimal involvement—giving back valuable time to Krish and his team.

Results
With Replicated, Pixee delivered a secure and compliant deployment to the financial institution in about thirty minutes. The deployment satisfied strict requirements for proxy integration, PKI validation, firewall rules, and SELinux enforcement without requiring major rewrites.
The impact went far beyond this single customer. Deployments that once required weeks of back-and-forth are now completed in hours. Customers are given the choice of Embedded Cluster or Helm depending on their environment, which makes adoption easier and builds trust. Pixee manages customer lifecycles seamlessly with licenses and channels, gains visibility into live environments through preflight checks and support bundles, and prevents regressions by continuously testing against varied environments with the Compatibility Matrix.
Brian sums it up: “It’s the breadth of Replicated that makes the difference. We use Embedded Cluster where it fits, Helm where it’s needed, and the platform around both gives us the visibility, control, and confidence to succeed in any enterprise environment.”
“None of our competitors are even aware that they can offer their services on-prem. That gives me a competitive edge."
